Sam Wilson, AKA the Falcon, took on the Captain America mantle - and the character’s iconic shield - at the end of “Avengers: Endgame.” He’ll team up with Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier for a globetrotting adventure, but specific details about the series’ plot are still under wraps.

Though Disney hasn’t officially confirmed that its Marvel Cinematic Universe shows on Disney+ will be getting second seasons, Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently stated that “there’s certainly ideas” for a sophomore season of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” The Disney+ Marvel shows are expected to closely tie into the franchise’s films and Feige promised that Marvel’s shows and films would go “back and forth” between each other.

The final trailer for “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” which was released on March 15, teases that the series will be significantly more action-oriented than “WandaVision,” the first Marvel Cinematic Universe show to premiere on Disney+.
